LEAH EVA
Leah Eva is a rising star Stand Up Comedian, Actress and Producer based in Chicago. Born in the Philippines and raised in The Bay Area, she began performing comedy in San Francisco and later moved to Chicago to polish her skills and follow her dream of becoming a great performer. Her comedy style is no holds barred, edgy and character driven. Her mother doesn't approve of her comedy because she said "p*rn stars make more money." Leah is a Second City Puma scholarship recipient and was voted by Chicagoans as a runner up for the funniest Comedian in Chicago's Red Eye in 2011. She was on MTV Yo Momma's first season hosted by Wilmer Valderrama from That 70s Show. She also made the final audition for BET Coming to the Stage taping and performed at the Original Improv in New York for Take Out Stand Up Comedy Showcase for World Asia Network. She has jokes published in the "She's So Funny" comedy book. She has been in 3 independent films: Comic Calling, Sexuality: A Sensory Experience and Ocatilla Flat. She was a featured cast member of The Vagina Monologues San Francisco edition. She also produces stand up comedy showcases and was a co-host on on NPR affiliate Vocalo.org. Besides touring comedy clubs, colleges and corporate shows around the country, she’s a board member of a non-profit group called Save A Mother.
